City of Winchester City Council met Oct. 23.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
WINCHESTER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
Mayor McIntire called the meeting to order at 5:15 pm. with the following council in attendance: Jeff Pittman, Ron Bell, Tina Brown, Terry Gregory, Melinda Hembrough and City Clerk Teri Little. Bill Jacquot was absent.
Also, in attendance was John Paul Coonrod, City Attorney,
John Paul Coonrod, City Attorney, advised that the reason for the meeting was to pass Ordinance 968 authorizing use of city property for the city water installation project.
He explained this was needed per the USDA grant and it basically gives authorization to use city property during the water main project.
MOTION: Ron Bell moved and Jeff Pittman seconded to approve to approve ordinance 968. Roll call resulted in all yeas. Motion carried.
MOTION: Terry Gregory moved and Jeff Pittman second to adjourn at 5:22 pm. Roll call resulted in all yeas. Motion carried.
