The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) has introduced new enhancements to its licensing services.

One significant update is the launch of a virtual appointment pilot program. This initiative, available every Wednesday, allows individuals seeking support with IDFPR professional licenses to engage directly with members of the Licensing Team. These experts can provide direct solutions to various licensing challenges. However, it is important to note that this service operates on a first-come, first-serve basis and tends to fill up quickly.

Additionally, IDFPR has made several applications available online for social workers and professional counselors. The newly accessible online applications include those for Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Professional Counselors, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors.
