The Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT) has released an update on the traffic changes for the resurfacing project on North DuSable Lake Shore Drive. The affected area is between LaSalle Drive and Hollywood Avenue.
On Monday, October 28, and Tuesday, October 29, starting at 9:00 a.m., southbound traffic on DLSD will be reduced to two lanes from Irving Park Road to LaSalle Drive. Additionally, both northbound and southbound traffic will be limited to three lanes between Hollywood Avenue and Lawrence Avenue. Despite these lane reductions, all ramps will remain open. The department anticipates that all lanes will reopen by 4:00 p.m.
This schedule aims to complete the resurfacing project as planned, contingent upon favorable weather conditions.
