Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois' 3rd district, has expressed strong opinions through a series of tweets on various issues related to the Trump Administration and other political matters. Serving in Congress since 2023 after replacing Marie Newman, Ramirez brings her previous experience from the Illinois House of Representatives into her federal role.

On February 2, 2025, Ramirez criticized the Trump Administration for allegedly undermining democracy and removing essential funding. She asserted that "Trump’s Administration believes they have mandate to hurt our neighbors, undermine our democracy, and take away vital funding. But our communities showed them they don’t!" Further emphasizing community expectations, she stated: "Let’s talk about how our communities expect us to work for every working family!"

The following day, on February 3, 2025, she tweeted about perceived threats against the federal government by a prominent billionaire. Ramirez claimed that an "unelected, unaccountable billionaire is stealing American data" and accused him of "persecuting federal employees," as well as dismantling federal agencies. In her view, "Musk and this Administration are breaking the law and laying…" as she articulated in her tweet .

Continuing her commentary on February 4, 2025, Ramirez discussed overcoming fear with action. She committed to using all available means to oppose what she describes as an administration intent on violating rights. She stated: "Overwhelming and scaring us is the point. The antidote to fear is action." Moreover, she pledged: "I will use every tool at my disposal to fight back and protect the people from an Administration hell-bent on violating our human and civil rights."
