Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, representing Illinois’ 3rd district, has shared her commitment to supporting agricultural and health initiatives through a series of tweets. As a dedicated advocate for community welfare, Ramirez highlights the importance of legislation and funding in sustaining essential services.

On March 18, 2025, Congresswoman Ramirez tweeted about National Agriculture Day, expressing her dedication to farmers and food programs: "On today's National Agriculture Day, I am committed to supporting our nation's farmers and the essential food programs that combat hunger in our communities - and we start by passing a Farm Bill!"

Later that day, she addressed concerns over HIV prevention funding: "HIV Prevention saves lives! @CDCgov must not eliminate the HIV Prevention Center & other initiatives that provide $31M in funding to IL public health. We must stand against ANY actions from the Trump Administration that seek to roll back the clock on progress we’ve made to end..."

In another tweet on March 18th, Congresswoman Ramirez emphasized healthcare rights: "Health care is a human right! We must protect Medicaid while we fight for Medicare for ALL. It's why I convened community health centers in #IL03 who provide essential programs and services my constituents rely on. Together we will protect our community's health!"
