Congresswoman Delia C. Ramirez, currently representing Illinois’ 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, has been vocal on issues concerning federal policy and governance. In a series of tweets, she expressed her concerns about certain actions and policies of the Trump Administration.

On March 26, 2025, Ramirez stated, "I joined 62 of my colleagues to demand the IRS stop illegally sharing information about tax-paying immigrants to advance the authoritarian agenda." She warned that although the targeting may begin with immigrants, it could potentially extend to others.

The following day, on March 27, 2025, Ramirez highlighted concerns about public education, stating, "We know vibrant, accessible public education is necessary for a strong democracy capable of resisting authoritarianism." She emphasized the importance of advocating for schools, educators, and students amidst perceived attacks on the education system by the Trump Administration.

Later the same day, she commented on the perceived risks posed by certain government officials, "Sure, they are incompetent, but they are also dangerous. They are loyalists, willing to put the well-being, security, and safety of our neighbors at risk to keep their billionaire bosses happy." Ramirez noted the concerns of the American public regarding these issues.
