On April 5 and 6, 2025, the Cook County Sheriff's Office utilized social media to emphasize their dedication to community engagement and support. Through various messages, they highlighted the importance of fighting child abuse, being resilient, and celebrated the joy brought by therapy animals.

On April 5, 2025, the Cook County Sheriff's Office rallied community support through a tweet to combat child abuse. They urged individuals to "Join us today as we unite in the fight against child abuse. Show the world you care by dressing in blue, signaling our commitment to protect every child's right to a safe and loving environment. Together, let's make a difference. #ChildAbusePreventionMonth #WearBlue4Kids".

Later the same day, they posted another message focusing on endurance and tenacity. They wrote, "It’s not about how hard you can hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. Because our instructors didn’t go easy on them, we are sure they are ready to handle whatever is thrown their way. Are you? Let’s find out. Challenge yourself and join the Cook".

On April 6, 2025, the focus shifted to therapy animals' role in healthcare positivity. The office introduced a therapy dog in training named Canela, stating, "Meet Canela! This therapy dog in training sure knows how to spread cheer at La Rabida Children's Hospital. Because everyone could use a little bit of puppy love! #TherapyDog #Canela #HospitalVisits #CookCountySheriff".
