The Cook County Sheriff's Office has shared a series of updates via social media detailing recent activities.

On April 7, the Sheriff's Police 6th District Patrol Officers arrested 19-year-old Ivan Enriquez. Enriquez was reportedly found "slumped over and asleep in his vehicle at a traffic light near the intersection of 135th and Kedzie in Robbins." Officers noted that the car was still in drive. More details can be found in the original post.

On April 8, the Cook County Sheriff's Office celebrated a special occasion involving one of their canine members. They highlighted that it was Bolt's birthday, describing the dog in a post as "All gas, no brakes - it's Bolt's birthday! This dual-purpose patrol & narcotics pooch is celebrating four years 'round the sun today." Bolt is a German Shepherd serving as both a patrol and narcotics dog. The office added hashtags such as #HappyBirthday and #K9 in their original post.

Later on April 8, another arrest was reported by the office. Sheriff's Police 2nd District Patrol Officers answered a call regarding a domestic dispute in the 3700 block of Salem Walk, located in unincorporated Northbrook. The post reports that Tsatsral Nergui, aged 45, was arrested "for striking an officer in the face while resisting arrest." This incident was shared in the original post.
