Highlighting the case of Mahmoud, a legal permanent resident, she warned that this situation poses a risk to others if unchecked.
Delia Ramirez, serving in the U.S. Congress since 2023 from Illinois' 3rd District, succeeded Congress member Marie Newman. Prior to this, Ramirez represented her constituency in the Illinois House of Representatives from 2018 to 2022. Born in 1983, Ramirez resides in Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northeastern Illinois University.
