Chicago Sky sign Puisis and Boler to training camp contracts

The Chicago Sky have signed Sammie Puisis and Tilly Boler to training camp contracts, as announced by the team today. The specifics of the contracts have not been disclosed in accordance with team policy.

Sammie Puisis, standing at 6-foot-1, has a collegiate background from South Florida University. In her college career, she participated in 150 games, starting in 106 of them, and achieved an average of 10.4 points and 3.2 rebounds per game. Puisis was notable for her three-point shooting, achieving a 37.8% success rate. After transferring to South Florida in the 2022-23 season, she concluded her college career with an average of 15.5 points and a 39.0% three-point shooting accuracy. She ranks third in South Florida's history for three-pointers made, with 217 in two full seasons. Puisis was recognized as a two-time AAC All-Conference First Team member and named the AAC Newcomer of the Year in 2022-23. Her collegiate journey began at Florida State, contributing to two NCAA Tournament appearances.

Tilly Boler, also a 6-foot-1 guard, played for the University of Memphis during the 2024-25 period. Over her collegiate tenure, which includes 145 games (97 starts) with Memphis and Jackson State, she averaged 10.3 points and 3.4 rebounds. Boler had a breakout third season at Jackson State, significantly increasing her scoring. After transferring to Memphis, she recorded a career peak of 16.6 points and shot 37.0% from three-point range. Boler made history as the first Memphis player in a decade to be honored on the AAC All-Conference First Team for the 2024-25 season and was also on the AAC All-Newcomer Team. At Jackson State, she earned two All-SWAC team accolades and was named to the 2024 All-SWAC Tournament team.
