On May 22, the Cook County Sheriff's Office reported that "Sheriff’s Police Organized Crime Division investigators arrested 22-year-old Maurice Jones, 22-year-old Jakobie McKinney, and 20-year-old Damonte Thompson during a traffic stop near 75th Street and Dobson Avenue in Chicago’s Grand Crossing neighborhood."
