On Friday, March 21, former Whitney M. Young Magnet High School standout Kate Coonan’s current college team, the Case Western Reserve Spartans, lost 3-2 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Washington University Bears.

The game took place at WashU Softball Field. This was their first matchup against the Bears this season.

The Spartans’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at WashU Softball Field against Washington University Bears.
