On Saturday, March 22, former Whitney M. Young Magnet High School standout Sydney Gilbert’s current college team, the Miami RedHawks, won 3-2 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Northern Illinois Huskies.

The game took place at Miami Softball Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Huskies this season.

The RedHawks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 1 at 1 p.m. at Miami Softball Stadium against Toledo Rockets.
