Chicago Fire FC has announced that Chance the Rapper will perform as part of the club's 2025 Summer Concert Series, presented by Café Bustelo. The performance is scheduled for July 26, following a match against the New York Red Bulls. This announcement follows a previous reveal that DannyLux will kick off the series on July 12 after a game against San Diego FC.
The concert series aims to enhance the matchday experience and aligns with Chicago Fire FC's plans to build a new stadium in downtown Chicago. Last season, Jason Derulo performed post-match, while Lil Durk delivered a halftime show in 2023.
Chance the Rapper began his career in 2011 and gained national recognition with his album "Acid Rap" in 2013. A native of Chicago, he has contributed significantly to local schools and community programs. At the Grammy Awards in 2017, he made history by winning awards for a streaming-only album, including "Best Rap Album" for "Coloring Book."
Tickets for the July 26 event start at $29 and are available through Ticketmaster or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE.
Café Bustelo has partnered with Chicago Fire FC as the Official Coffee and Espresso sponsor for the 2025 MLS Season. The brand will feature prominently during home matches with LED signage and branding around the stage during concerts. Café Bustelo products will also be available at Soldier Field’s Gate 0 and integrated into menus at local venues like the 2nd Star Tavern.
Chicago Fire FC resumes league play against Philadelphia Union on June 25 at Soldier Field. Tickets are available starting at $29 via Ticketmaster or by calling 888-MLS-FIRE.
