Chicago Fire FC and U.S. Soccer have announced that four players from the Chicago Fire Academy have been selected for the U.S. Under-15 Boys’ National Team. The players, Robert Turdean, Finn McCraney, Christopher Morales, and Jason Nemo, will participate in the 2025 Concacaf Boys’ Under-15 Championship in Alajuela, Costa Rica from August 2 to 10.
The team is set to defend its title as the reigning champions of the tournament. They are placed in League A, Group B and will face Saudi Arabia on August 4, Costa Rica on August 6, and Canada on August 7. Matches will be held at FCRF Federation Field #1 and #2 in Alajuela and streamed across Concacaf platforms.
This championship marks the first regional competition under Head Coach Ross Brady since his appointment in February. Both McCraney and Nemo have attended all three camps led by Brady this year, while Turdean and Morales have participated in two camps each. Recently, Turdean played for the East All-Stars during the MLS NEXT All-Star Game on July 21 in Austin, Texas.
