On August 8, 2025, the office reported an arrest made by its Fugitive Apprehension Unit in cooperation with federal authorities. According to the post, "Recently, the Sheriff's Fugitive Apprehension Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Great Lakes Regional Task Force, arrested 55-year-old Darrell Epting on a warrant from Burlington County, New Jersey, for Terroristic Threats and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm." The arrest involved coordination between local and federal agencies.
