ONE Northside is a non-profit originally founded to support the building of more government-subsidized housing in majority white Chicago neighborhoods. Today, it also advocates for more government spending and higher taxes, broadly, backing elected officials who also support those policies and-- quite viscerally-- opposing calls for government efficiency, less spending or lower debt.
