“Doing Business with the City of Chicago,” a networking event hosted by the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC), the Department of Procurement Services (DPS), Chicago Police Department (CPD), and Chicago Fire Department (CFD), aims to inform vendors about services they may be able to offer to different city departments.
More than 5,000 invitations were sent out to potential vendors, inviting each to come and learn about the services provided by OEMC, CPD and CFD. Vendors in sectors such as technology, computer hardware/software, and public safety will be able to determine if they have a service or product that would fit the needs of one of those departments.
The event is scheduled for Sept. 14 from 10-11 a.m., and will be hosted at Public Safety headquarters, 3510 S. Michigan Ave.
Those interested in registering for the event can do so by sending their name, contact information, and names of those who will attend with you to Rmcdonnell@cityofchicago.org.
