Niles Fire & Police Commission review firefighter candidates

Niles Fire & Police Commission met Feb. 2.

The Fire and Police Commission is responsible, pursuant to Illinois State Statutes and Village ordinances, for testing, appointing and promoting personnel to and within the Police Department and the Fire Department for the Village of Niles. Additionally, the Fire and Police Commission conducts hearings for officers and members of the Police Department and the Fire Department for consideration of suspension and discharge.
