Chicago Republican Party owes $14,400 in fines

The campaign committee Chicago Republican Party owes a $4,875 fine imposed on March 19, 2012, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $9,525 with Eloise Gerson listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 143 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $863,080 in pending fines.
