Chicago Transit Authority Board met May 10.

Roll Call: Present: Committee Vice-Chairman Irvine, Peterson, Alva Rosales, Youngblood, Miller. There was a quorum of five committee members present. Director Silva was absent.
Committee Action: The committee reviewed the Finance report, heard a report from the Authority’s Independent Auditors for Fiscal Year 2016, and approved the April 5th, 2017 committee minutes.
Then, after extensive review by the committee, Vice-Chairman Irvine asked for a motion to place the recommended approved items on the omnibus for Board approval. The recommended items included all agenda items, except Committee agenda item number five, an ordinance authorizing a lease of retail concession space located at 319 East Garfield Boulevard, Chicago, Illinois (Green Line). This item had been deferred from consideration.
After the motion was moved and seconded, the motion was approved with five yes votes. The recommended omnibus contained the following items:
1 An ordinance authorizing an intergovernmental agreement with the Assessor’s Office of the County of Cook, Illinois to access geographic information system data.
2 Contract Number C16FT101701191: $53,983,954.00
3 Contract Number C17FT101958206: $1,727,087.00
4 Contract Number B17OP04483: $360,000.00
5 Contract Number B16OP03340R1: $1,200,000.00
6 Contract Number B16OP00222: $280,000.00
7 Contract Number C13FI101375566: $636,259.45
Motion to Adjourn: Vice-Chairman Irvine asked for a motion to adjourn the Finance, Audit, and Budget committee meeting of May 10th, 2017. After the motion was moved, the motion was approved by unanimous voice vote.
