Simeon's Purnell has one sack in McKendree Bearcats football win

Simeon graduate Brandon Purnell had one sack, two tackles and one solo tackle for a loss in McKendree Bearcats football's 50-0 win Sept. 9 over the Kentucky St. Thorobreds at Leemon Field.

Purnell is a 6-2, 245 pound freshman linebacker from Chicago.
