Hales Franciscan graduate Patrick Nelson had five tackles in Illinois Fighting Illini football's 24-21 win Sept. 2 over the Ball St. Cardinals at Memorial.

Nelson is a 6-2, 210 pound sophomore defensive back from Chicago.

Up next: Illinois Fighting Illini football plays hosts Western Ky. Hilltoppers football on Sept. 9.
