Accounting Today has named Diane Yetter, president and founder of the sales tax consulting firm YETTERTM and the Sales Tax Institute, as one of its "100 Most Influential People in Accounting," according to a press release from the Chicagoland Chamber.
"I am honored to be recognized as a leader in my field,” Yetter said, according to the release. “I love what I do and am passionate about helping others succeed in their careers – particularly in sales tax."
The Sales Tax Institute is a think tank that Yetter created to help business professionals better understand sales and use tax. Yetter also supports education efforts in organizations like Sales & Use Tax Alert, the Institute of Financial Management and the University of Kansas School of Business.

“I've worked in the tax field for more than 30 years and with many consultants," Wendy Mancini, senior tax manager at 14 West Administrative Services, said in the release. “Diane is rare. Rather than sitting on the other side of the table advising us, she sits on our side of the table to assist and guide us. She's an embedded part of our team who is respected and admired by all — right up to most senior level management in our company.”
