Hales Franciscan's Nelson has one recovered fumble in Illinois Fighting Illini football loss

Hales Franciscan graduate Patrick Nelson had 23 fumble return yards, one recovered fumble, one fumble return, eight tackles and one fumble recovered in Illinois Fighting Illini football's 45-16 loss Oct. 7 to the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Nelson is a 6-2, 210 pound sophomore defensive back from Chicago.

Up next: Illinois Fighting Illini football plays hosts Rutgers Scarlet Knights football on Oct. 14.
