The regular meeting of the Abingdon-Avon CUSD 276 Board of Education was held on
November 8, 2017. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. with Serven presiding. The following members were present: Serven, Craver, Terwilliger, Quinn, Mannon, and Kreider. Mr. Brooks was absent.
A motion was made by Mrs. Mannon and seconded by Mr. Quinn to approve the agenda. Roll call: Craver, yea; Terwilliger, yea; Quinn, yea; Mannon, yea; Kreider, yea; and Serven, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Craver and seconded by Ms. Kreider to approve the Consent Agenda. Roll call: Terwilliger, yea; Quinn, yea; Mannon, yea; Kreider, yea; Serven, yea; and Craver, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Quinn and seconded by Ms. Kreider to go into executive session at 7:33 p.m. Roll call: Quinn, yea; Mannon, yea; Kreider, yea; Serven, yea; Craver, yea; and Terwilliger, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mrs. Mannon and seconded by Mr. Quinn to return to open session at 8:10 p.m. Roll call: Mannon, yea; Kreider, yea; Serven, yea; Craver, yea; Terwilliger, yea; and Quinn, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mrs. Mannon and seconded by Mr. Craver to approve the Personnel Report as Presented. Roll call: Kreider, yea; Serven, yea; Craver, yea; Terwilliger, yea; Quinn, yea; and Mannon, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Craver and seconded by Mrs. Terwilliger to approve the installation of Electric Motors on all AAHS Basketball Hoops. Roll call: Serven, yea; Craver, yea; Terwilliger, yea; Quinn, yea; Mannon, yea; and Kreider, yea. Motion passed.
Dr. Curry acknowledged the High School Football Team for making the IHSA Playoffs.
