The special meeting of the Abingdon-Avon CUSD 276 Board of Education was held on
November 20, 2017. The meeting was called to order at 9:02 a.m. with Brooks presiding. The following members were present: Serven, Quinn, Kreider, and Brooks. Also present was Mr. Gordon, Mrs. Andrews, Warren Cummins, Ron Lydic, and Suzanne Batson.
A motion was made by Mr. Serven and seconded by Mr. Quinn to go into executive session at 9:03 a.m. Roll call: Kreider, yea; Serven, yea; Quinn, yea; and Brooks, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Quinn and seconded by Mr. Serven to return to open session at 10:07 a.m. Roll call: Kreider, yea; Quinn, yea; Serven, yea; and Brooks, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Serven and seconded by Ms. Kreider to uphold the action upon the discipline of a specific non-PEL employee of the district. Roll call: Quinn, yea; Serven, yea; Kreider, yea; and Brooks, yea. Motion passed.
A motion was made by Mr. Quinn and seconded by Mr. Serven to adjourn at 10:12 a©.m. Roll call: Serven, yea; Kreider, yea; Quinn, yea; and Brooks, yea. Motion passed.
