City of Chicago Community Development Commission met October 10.

I. Roll Call of Commissioners
Chairman Jorge Perez called the meeting to order at 1:00 p.m. and then undertook a roll call to establish the presence of a quorum.

II. Approve Minutes of the September 12, 2017 Meeting
Motioned by Ward, seconded by Newsome. Voice vote, all yeas. Cepeda not present.
III. New Business
A. Proposed Foster/Edens TIF Redevelopment Project Area (Ward 39)
Accept for review the eligibility study and redevelopment plan for the proposed
Foster/Edens Tax Increment Financing Redevelopment Project Area, and set the
dates for a public meeting of the Joint Review Board and a public hearing.
Project Manager: Ryan Slattery
Motioned by Butler, seconded by Newsome. Approved 8-0. Yeas: Butler, Cepeda, Curtis, Griggs, Newsome, Rhodes, Ward and Perez. 17-CDC-23
