Pledge of Allegiance:

1. Roll Call
Present 3 - Avis LaVelle, Erika Allen, and Tim King
Absent 1 - Donald Edwards
2. Executive Session [Pursuant to 5ILCS 120 Section 2 Subsection C (16)]
A motion was made by Commissioners Koldyke and seconded by Commissioner King that the meeting enter into closed session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120 Section 2 Subsection(C) (16). The motion prevailed with the following vote:
Aye: 6 - Helfand, Ruiz, LaVelle, Allen, Koldyke and King
Absent: 1 – Edwards
17-2910- 3. Open Session
A motion was made by Commissioner Koldyke and seconded by Vice President LaVelle to return to Open Session. The motion prevailed with the following vote:
Aye: 5 - Ruiz, LaVelle, Allen, Koldyke and King
Excused: 1 - Helfand
Absent: 1 – Edwards
Report on Closed Session
President Jesse Ruiz stated that the Board of Commissioners went into closed Session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120 Section 2 Subsection (C) (16) for the purposes of self evaluation of which a monitor was present. There was discussion of the creation of a compensation committee. No further action was taken.
3. Adjournment
A motion was made by vice President LaVell and seconded by Commissioner King to adjourn the meeting. The motion prevailed with the following vote:
Aye: 5 - Ruiz, LaVelle, Allen, Koldyke and King
Excused: 1 - Helfand
Absent: 1 – Edwards
