House candidate Robinson raised $986K ahead of primary victory

Lamont Robinson raised $145 per vote cast for him in the 5th House District Democratic primary race last month, according to the Illinois Campaign for Political Reform.

In all, the contentious primary raised $1.5 million.

The Illinois Campaign for Political Reform analyzed how much candidates in the most contested state races raised per vote they received in the Illinois Primary on March 20. The analysis is based on contributions disclosures between Jan. 1, 2017, and March 20.
