Alcott Local School Council issued the following announcement on May 10.
Attention all Alcott guys, if you are a guy associated with Alcott College Prep, you are invited to the eighth annual Alcott Guys Game Night!
There is no cover charge for this event and everyone is welcome. In case you're still not sure if you're invited, you just have to be a guy who is also Alcott College Prep faculty, administration, dad, grand dad,great grand dad etc.
Where: Lake View Men's Club, 2732 N. Pine Grove - Just 2.5 blocks east of Alcott East campus
When: 8:00 pm Friday May 11
What: Four floors of Card games, pool, ping-pong, foosball, darts, TVs, inexpensive cash-bar $2-$4, no-cover charge. Cigar enthusiasts are invited to enjoy the indoor cigar lounge. You can even skip the games and just sit n' socialize. Just a fun and simple guys night out - nothing complicated.
Poker: For those who want to play, there will be a Texas Hold'em Poker Tournament. The buy-in is $30 and there will be no re-buys. The pot will be split 70%, 20%, 10% to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners respectively. You do not have to RSVP to the poker tournament; however, we will begin the poker tournament at 8:00 pm sharp. Winner of poker tournament required to pay for the pizza.
