About 56.8 percent of the 6,349 degrees and certificates handed out by the DeVry University-Illinois in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Chicago conferred 1813 master's degrees and 1517 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other. Data shows the school gave out 1044 bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Management and Operations, Other, followed by 1041 certificates in Health Information/Medical Records Technology/Technician and 931 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General.
The university enrolled 19,340 students for 2016-17, including 14,471 in undergraduate programs and 4,869 in graduate programs.
