Illinois students paid $26,474 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year $1,140 more than the $25,334 charged for 2016-17.
Data shows 88 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 1,451 students received grants or scholarships totaling $16 million and 1,220 students took out student loans totaling more than $9.46 million.
Including all undergraduates, 5,968 students used grants or scholarships totaling $59.01 million. Another 5,808 took out $41.24 million in federal student loans.
