Cost of college was unchanged for all students at City Colleges of Chicago-Olive-Harvey College

In-state tuition and fees was unchanged for 2017-18 at City Colleges of Chicago-Olive-Harvey College, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois residents paid $8,126 to attend the two-year public institution in both the 2016-17 and 2017-18 academic years.

Non-residents paid 46.5 percent more than residents this year, or $11,906. Their price tag was unchanged from $11,906 in 2016-17.

About 98 percent of the school's undergraduate population are Illinois residents. And about 2 percent are residents of other states.

Data shows 81 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 128 students received grants or scholarships totaling $616,722 and 27 students took out student loans totaling more than $94,592.

Including all undergraduates, 1,318 students used grants or scholarships totaling $5.06 million. Another 489 took out $1.75 million in federal student loans.
