Cost of college went up for all students at Cannella School of Hair Design-Chicago

Tuition and fees rose 2.8 percent for 2017-18 at Cannella School of Hair Design-Chicago, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

Illinois students paid $11,040 to attend the private for-profit school this year $300 more than the $10,740 charged for 2016-17.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 3 students received grants or scholarships totaling $18,660.

Including all undergraduates, 112 students used grants or scholarships totaling $410,128.
