Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 3.
We’re excited to announce the return of Lincoln Park’s annual public art program, Art on Clark, with an opening night party on Tuesday, July 17 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Gaslight Bar & Grille (2450 N. Clark).
Guests are invited to pick up an event passport at Gaslight Bar, which includes a self-guided tour highlighting all ten sculptures along Diversey Parkway and Clark Street in Lincoln Park, and enjoy a free drink and quick bite.
Art on Clark features ten striking and eye-catching sculptures by local artists accompanied by a free self-guided tour to hear the history and inspiration behind each sculpture. The tour can be accessed through the Otocast app which is available from the App Store or the Google Play store.
“Public art is a priority in Lincoln Park. We’re thrilled to display local artists in our neighborhood which elevates the experience of our residents, visitors and businesses,” states Kim Schilf, President & CEO of the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce.
