66 percent of applicants to Moody Bible Institute were admitted for fall 2017

At Moody Bible Institute, 69 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 54 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 3,442 students in fall 2017, including 2,714 in undergraduate and 728 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

17 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 63 percent are residents of other states. 14 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (58 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (6 percent).

The school admitted 66 percent of the 768 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 60 percent enrolled.
