City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College enrolls 7,182 undergrads

At City Colleges of Chicago-Richard J Daley College, 55 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 57 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The two-year public institution in Chicago enrolled 7,182 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 3.8 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

99 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 1 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Hispanic or Latino (78 percent) and Black or African American (11 percent).
