Argosy University-Chicago enrolls 143 undergrads

At Argosy University-Chicago, 78 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 76 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 528 students in fall 2017, including 143 in undergraduate and 385 in graduate programs, data shows. 14.7 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

93 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 7 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as Black or African American (62 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (15 percent).
