71 percent of applicants to Kendall College were admitted for fall 2017

At Kendall College, 51 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 73 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Chicago enrolled 1,027 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 14.3 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

69 percent of undergraduates are residents of Illinois, and 14 percent are residents of other states. 17 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (40 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (16 percent).

The school admitted 71 percent of the 175 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 57 percent enrolled.
