Silvestri, Daley among winners in Cook County Commissioner races

The results of the Cook County Commissioner races have been released.

Republican Peter Silvestri has been declared the winner in the County Board 9th District Commissioner race against Democrat Frank McPartlin. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Silvestri had 52.11 percent of the vote with a total of 38,609 votes. McPartlin received 47.89 percent of the vote with a total of 35,484 votes.

Democrat John Daley has been declared the winner in the County Board 11th District Commissioner race against Republican Steven Graves. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Daley had 66.7 percent of the vote with a total of 18,679 votes. Graves received 33.3 percent of the vote with a total of 9,325 votes.


Cook County Commissioner Peter Silvestri

Democrat Larry Suffredin has been declared the winner in the County Board 13th District Commissioner race against Republican Chris Hanusiak. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Suffredin had 75.14 percent of the vote with a total of 70,580 votes. Hanusiak received 24.86 percent of the vote with a total of 23,352 votes.

Democrat Scott Britton has been declared the winner in the County Board 14th District Commissioner race against Republican Gregg Goslin. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Britton had 53.88 percent of the vote with a total of 60,137 votes. Goslin received 46.12 percent of the vote with a total of 51,484 votes.

Democrat Kevin Morrison has been declared the winner in the County Board 15th District Commissioner race against Republican Timothy Owen Schneider. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Morrison had 54.46 percent of the vote with a total of 50,444 votes. Schneider received 45.54 percent of the vote with a total of 42,174 votes.

Republican Sean Morrison has been declared the winner in the County Board 17th District Commissioner race against Democrat Abdelnasser Rashid. With 100 percent of the precincts reporting, Morrison had 50.85 percent of the vote with a total of 60,290 votes. Rashid received 49.15 percent of the vote with a total of 58,267 votes.
