State House race: Democrat Didech wins voter tally in Cook County

Daniel Didech led Republican Karen Feldman in votes cast in Cook County for the District 59 state House race, according to the latest vote count.

Didech appeared to outpace Feldman by a margin of 28.2 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Carol Sente, won by a margin of 20 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Leslie Munger, who received 1,064 votes to Sente's 1,596.
