Governor race: Democrat Pritzker wins voter tally in Cook County

JB Pritzker led Republican Bruce Rauner in votes cast in Cook County for the gubernatorial race, according to the latest vote count.

Pritzker appeared to outpace Rauner by a margin of 28.2 percent on Tuesday in the county.

In comparison, the 2014 winner, Democrat Pat Quinn, won by a margin of 31.5 percent in that jurisdiction, beating Republican Bruce Rauner, who received 447,388 votes to Quinn's 870,866.
