Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago issued the following announcement on Jan. 11.
On January 27, thousands of amazing supporters will climb 80 floors to the top of the Aon Center for patients like Aggie.
Aggie has been a lifelong patient at Lurie Children's--having her first Spina Bifida surgery at just 24 hours old. Today, Aggie is a happy and loving two-year-old who brings joy to everyone she meets. She visits the Spina Bifida Clinic every few months for a day full of testing and appointments while attending eight separate therapy sessions per week. Aggie has begun to take her first steps with her walker and proves that there is no feat too great or too small to stand in the way of her future.
Aggie will be represented by Team Aggie (consisting of family and friends) at the 22nd Annual Aon Step Up for Kids.
