Q3 real estate sales report: Bucktown

Median prices rose in Bucktown over last year, and are up 5.8 percent over 10 years, adjusted for inflation, according to third quarter sales data collected by BlockShopper.com.

From July to September, 137 homes sold in Bucktown for a median price of $555,000. That's 2.7 percent higher than median home sale prices for the third quarter of 2017.

Median property tax for homeowners in Bucktown was $8,774.18 in 2017 according to tax data from that year. That means homeowners pay 1.6 percent of their home's value in taxes.
