Democratic Brian Hopkins's election campaign committee, Hopkins for Chicago, spent $70,234 in the first quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Hopkins's committee spent the most on fundraising in the quarter, with all those payments ($32,243) going to KJD Strategies in Chicago. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Hopkins's committee spent its money in the first quarter.
