Chicago Latino Public Affairs Committee owes $19,175 in fines

The campaign committee Chicago Latino Public Affairs Committee owes a $800 fine imposed on Feb. 27, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $18,375 with Homero Tristan listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
