Citizens for Burch owes $12,975 in fines

The campaign committee Citizens for Burch owes a $5,000 fine imposed on Oct. 14, 2015, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $7,975 with Sharon Burch listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
