Lapapa For Justice owes $3,050 in fines

The campaign committee Lapapa For Justice owes a $3,000 fine imposed on Dec. 20, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $50 with Joseph Lapapa listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
