Support Independent Maps owes $300 in fines

The campaign committee Support Independent Maps owes a $50 fine imposed on Dec. 20, 2016, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $250 with Dennis FitzSimmons listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show 134 area campaign committees owe a combined total of $916,653.36 in pending fines.
